All of our puppies will be raised with
From day 3 of life, we introduce them to ENS~
Early Neurological Stimulation.
The first three weeks of their life are very important! We handle them multiple times a day. Touch is the most important thing for them during this time since their eyes do not open until around 10 days old and they are not able to hear until 2 weeks old. During this time, we will gently handle their feet, ears, tail, and mouth.
When they are about 2 weeks old, we will begin desensitizing them to nail trimmings and introduce them to many different sounds (fireworks, thunder, vacuums, etc).
At around week 4, we will have various larger toys (kids toys) in their puppy area so they can walk over different textures. They will begin the litter training and weaning process and will continue to be handled daily.
At around week 6, we will introduce new people, objects and our other dogs. Depending on the time of year, we will also introduce them to the outdoors & a kiddy pool.
Between week 6 & 7, we begin temperament testing and the process of choosing which family & environment they would do best in.
